Traffic Goes Global
>Traffic is investing in the future with the announcement that it will be the major sponsor of the World Marketing & Sales Forum in Melbourne in November this year. With legendary global speakers like Martin Lindstrom, Philip Kotler and Charlene Li the event is already attracting strong support following the highly successful Sydney World Business Forum in May this year.
Traffic Chairman and industry stalwart, Austin Begg confirmed the commitment to sponsor the event based on his experience attending the first World Business Forum in Sydney in May.
I am still benefiting and using the information and insights I gained from that Forum with our staff and clients. The experience has propelled us to the next level in terms of understanding and integrating the new platforms and channels into our strategic and creative thinking. Traffic has got to where it is today because we always think big and always like to take our clients on journeys they have never been on before.Austin Begg – Traffic Chairman
Andrew Begg, CEO of Traffic confirmed it was a big decision to sponsor the event but it is very rare that you can get ‘one on one’ access with five of the world’s most influential speakers and achievers and at a time of unparalleled change in the world.
The timing is perfect because change is accelerating and I want Traffic to be at the forefront of global trends and thinking. My visit to Cannes this year confirmed that brand transformation is not a two or three year event. It is a continuous process. Reinvention every day is the way of the future for companies and brands that want a future. And brand transformation has become one of our primary specialist capabilitiesAndrew Begg – Traffic CEO
Austin Begg claims that over the last fifty years, times of great change have brought great opportunities. He advises that “this is no time to be reticent or hesitant like many companies and brands we come in contact with. Our goal is to ensure Traffic and our clients will never become irrelevant and that’s why this investment in the World Marketing & Sales Forum is critically important to us. We are increasingly competing against the big multinational agencies and winning because of our track record in helping clients transform their companies and brands to deliver greater sales and profits. And the only way we can keep winning is to keep getting smarter.”
Traffic is a family business and multi-award winning Sam Moore runs the Traffic Sydney office and works with multi-award winning brother Andrew on all major client campaigns. Sam can’t wait to gain the new insights and experience from these gurus.
The real benefit of this sponsorship will be to share the knowledge and experience gained with our clients to get a head start on our competitors. At Traffic, we take the view that we don’t have a second to lose and the traditional ad agency has gone forever. That’s just one of the reasons Traffic continues to win local and global clients who want results – not just advertisements.Samantha Moore – Traffic General Manager Sydney
