A retail fitout on track to success
Background
ARB approached Traffic to review and provide recommendations on the fit out of their stores. In its’ 40 years of existence, the brand had grown and evolved and become the benchmark icon of the 4WD automotive parts and accessories category, through its own branded product, as well as being the OE supplier to every major local car marque (from Toyota and beyond).
Strategy
However, there were no existing strategic foundations in place for the brand – it had simply evolved and succeeded over time through the quality of the product. Through our Brand Metabolism process, we set a new strategic agenda for the ARB business, based around the positioning of ARB being a ‘genuine Australian legend’. This was executed through all communications channels, including a new design direction for the network of 50+ stores around the country.
Solution
The Traffic team designed and executed a complete overhaul of the ARB stores, providing direction on every single element from the outside through the interior – exterior and blade signage, store layout and customer journey flow, fixturing, interior signage, counters, POS/ posters/ ticketing, materials and finishes. The stores are currently being rolled out around the country.
