Background

Hurst Concepts was a small family construction business based in NSW specialising in petrol station upgrades, office and retail fitouts, refurbishments, hospitality and retirement/childcare projects. Hurst invited Traffic to devise a growth strategy and a plan that would elevate the perception of Hurst and treble turnover in two years.

Strategy

Hurst had a first class reputation with some blue chip clients for small projects but the challenge was to differentiate Hurst in a meaningful way to win new larger clients without competing on price. Traffic has considerable experience in this market sector and knew that Hurst must be perceived to be bigger and more resourceful to gain consideration in tenders.

Solution

Following a Brand Metabolism audit Traffic recommended a totally new branding and positioning based on retaining the Hurst name with a new logotype and brand identity proclaiming what Hurst does: Create. Construct. Change.
